The Resurrection of Light

ANTHONY MORA - Anthony Mora began his writing career as a poet and short story writer. He worked as a freelance journalist for such publications as US and Rolling Stone, and served as the editor-in-chief of Impresion, which featured such authors as Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes, and Gabriel Marcia Marquez.

Anthony's first novel, BANG! A Love Story (Dunhill Publishing), was published in 1998. He adapted BANG! both as a play and as a screenplay. In 1999, scenes from the play were performed at the Acme Theater in Los Angeles and The American Place Theater in New York. In 2004, staged readings of the full play were performed at the Third Street Theatre in Los Angeles. Anthony, who has been featured in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, CNN, and other media, recently finished a new play titled Modern Love. He is currently working on The Resurrection of Light, with artist Rachel Tribble.
RACHEL TRIBBLE - Rachel Tribble's first exposure to art was as a child in New York. At the age of two, her mother enrolled her in pre-school classes at The Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan. Her parents were avid art collectors and good friends with artist Robert Kipniss, who became the major influence to her as an artist.

Rachel studied fine arts at Syracuse University and The National Academy in New York. She became a jewelry designer and owner of a fashion jewelry company. She then moved into atmospheredesign where she created three-dimensional environments for nightclubs, rock bands and rave productions. Rachel also worked as a performance artist, creating such pieces as Serpent Rising, Ninth Vision, and Sanctuary. After a seven-year hiatus from art, during which time Rachel married, lived and worked among the Native American people and became the mother of two boys, she has returned to her traditional training as a painter and is currently collaborating with author and playwright, Anthony Mora on a visual expression of color and words named, The Resurrection of Light.
